Businessman Juan Suau Serra has died in Palma at the age of 80. Closely linked to the Mallorcan business world, Suau is best remembered for his time at Bar Bosch, which he co-owned from 1975 for nearly two decades. This period coincided with the establishment's consolidation as one of the main social and gastronomic meeting points in the center of Palma, without ever losing the popular spirit that has characterized it since its founding. Suau is also credited with popularizing the term lobsters to refer to the hot sandwiches of El Bosch, a name that has ended up becoming the brand name of the house.

The llonguets (a type of bread roll) will once again be a highlight of the festivities for Palma's patron saint. A dozen establishments, bars, and organizations from different neighborhoods of the city have joined this initiative, which combines gastronomy, music, and a festive atmosphere, and which grows in popularity each year in the San Sebastián festival program. The event, promoted in collaboration with Orgull Llonguet (a local pride association), invites the public to explore Palma through these venues, with the llonguet as the central element, and with activities ranging from concerts and DJ sets to workshops, exhibitions, and family events.
