The judge of the Palma Court of Instruction on duty has released this Wednesday the two young women arrested by the Guardia Civil as part of the investigation into the graffiti that appeared on five real estate agencies in Santa Maria del Camí. The judicial decision was announced while dozens of people, mostly young, were demonstrating in front of the courthouses on Alemanya Avenue to show their support.

The Dutchman Simón Leendert Verhoeven, investigated in the Plus Ultra case for his loans to the airline through his gold and raw materials sales businesses, kept two gold bars, twelve luxury watches, and numerous jewels at his home in Mallorca, which was searched in October 2024. As stated in the summary of this case, Verhoeven, for whom there is currently an international arrest warrant for extradition purposes, acknowledged before the Geneva Prosecutor the ownership of three companies (Allpa Wira Trading UK, Wailea Investment LTD, and Valerian Corporation) and that through them he had made loan agreements in favor.

A cyclist died this Saturday after being hit by a vehicle on the old Inca road, as it passes through the municipality of Santa Maria del Camí. The incident occurred at kilometer 15.6 around 11:00 AM, as confirmed to Europa Press by the Directorate General of Traffic. Civil Guard officers, the Santa María del Camino Local Police, and paramedics were dispatched to the scene. They attended to the victim, but were ultimately unable to save his life.
