The Association for the Rehabilitation of Old Centers (ARCA) has requested that the Pesquero bar project be rejected and that it be re-evaluated by the Palma City Council's Historic Center Commission. According to ARCA, the proposal approved by the Consistory is "disrespectful" to the heritage complex of the maritime facade and considers that the procedure followed "may have incurred irregularities".

The Historic Center Commission of the Palma City Council has rejected the proposal for the new Pesquero bar in Palma due to "deficiencies" in the project and has indicated that the design of the roof is a "visual distortion" for the city's historic center.

The ARCA association has expressed its outright rejection of the building proposed by the new concessionaire for the fishing area of ​​the port of Palma, an initiative it considers "unacceptable" due to its strong landscape impact on the maritime facade of the historic center.
