Sunday will be marked by strong winds and rough seas across much of the Balearic Islands. According to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), the day will begin with intervals of clouds and showers with thunderstorms that could be locally heavy and accompanied by light rain until morning, especially in Menorca and northern Mallorca. As the day progresses, the sky will tend to clear in the Pitiusas Islands, where a more stable and partly cloudy atmosphere is expected by evening. The snow level will be around 1,000 meters and will rise throughout the day. Nighttime temperatures have dropped significantly, while daytime temperatures will also experience a slight decrease. But the main feature of the day will be the north and northwest wind, which will blow moderately to strongly and occasionally very strongly, especially in Menorca.
