With a proposal that claims making music in Catalan as an essential part of their artistic identity and focused on everyday emotions, the group has been expanding its connection with the audience. Now they arrive in Mallorca, where they will perform at TribuFest this weekend.

Recently, however, the Barcelona-based group made an unexpected and significant turn: their latest album, Catalan graffiti (2025), is the first entirely in Catalan. On the eve of their concert at TribuFest in Felanitx, on Friday, May 29, their singer, Marc Ros, also talks about the life stage they are going through, their doubts, their successes, and the need to reconnect with music from a freer and more essential perspective.

In Mallorca, those from Alzira will say goodbye earlier, on May 29 as part of the Tribufest festival, in Felanitx. The band, born in Alzira in 2012, is retiring after more than a decade in which it has performed on hundreds of stages, filled dozens of venues, and garnered millions of streams on digital platforms. From its origins linked to the Societat Musical d’Alzira, La Fúmiga has brought the energy of charangas and bands to the stage, fused with urban and festive sounds. We speak with its vocalist, Artur Martínez.
