The cancellation of the Reggaeton Beach Festival (RBF) Mallorca continues to generate reactions. The Consumers' Association of the Balearic Islands (Consubal) recalled this Thursday that affected individuals not only have the right to recover the full amount of the tickets, but also to claim the additional expenses arising from the suspension of the event, such as accommodation, flights, and car rental.

The Reggaeton Beach Festival (RBF) announced this Thursday the cancellation of the entire tour planned for the summer of 2026 and the cessation of its operations. The festival management assures that, after analyzing the global situation of the project, it has found that the company's operational and financial structure no longer allows for organizing the events with the necessary guarantees. For this edition, it was announced that the festival would be held at Son Fusteret, in Palma, and that Myke Towers would be the headliner.According to the statement, the new administration has detected economic, financial, and operational circumstances that significantly compromise the project's viability, making it impossible to maintain the planned activity for this summer. Sources close to the situation describe the outcome as "the total closure of the company" and "a catastrophe".

Puerto Rican singer Myke Towers will headline the Reggaeton Beach Festival Mallorca 2026, which will take place on July 18 and 19 at the Son Fusteret venue in Palma. The festival, specializing in Latin urban music, will reach its eighth edition this year with a tour planned between June and July that will visit seven cities: Barcelona, ​​Madrid, Alicante, Tenerife, Mallorca, Santander, and Nigrán. The organizers have also announced a reorientation of the project starting in 2026, with the aim of expanding the usual two-day summer format. The new plan includes activities spread throughout the year in the Balearic Islands, with pre-festival events in the spring, the main festival in the summer, and closing events. According to the festival's new executive director, Andrés Tortarolo, this new phase aims to "consolidate an entertainment platform with global reach" and expand the project's scope beyond the traditional format.
