Llorenç Galmés has claimed in his speech the centrality of the Popular Party as the majority force in Mallorca, defining it as “the party that most resembles the people here” and that represents the social majority. At a moment he has described as decisive, one year before the regional, insular, and municipal elections, he has warned against any overconfidence despite the improvement in results compared to 2023. The insular president has appealed for internal unity and party mobilization to consolidate the territorial and organic growth achieved in recent years.

Llorenç Galmés has been re-elected president of the Popular Party of Mallorca with 99.8% of the votes during the insular congress held this weekend. Galmés, who was the sole candidate, thus consolidates his leadership at the head of the party with practically unanimous support.
