The Consell de Mallorca has declared the traditional production technique of "tela de lenguas" (language cloth) as an asset of intangible cultural interest (BICIM), with the aim of protecting, preserving, and guaranteeing the continuity of this living heritage deeply rooted in Mallorcan identity.
