The association for the defense of LGTBI+ rights Ben Amics denounced this Monday the lack of information about the programming of Pride 2026 in Palma, only six days before the celebration. The entity criticizes that the City Council has not yet published any agenda of events or has resolved the contract of the artists planned for the so-called tourist celebration on Saturday.

The Palma City Council has reiterated its commitment to the celebration of the LGTBI+ Pride program in the city and its willingness for the festival to take place in collaboration with the entity Ben Amics, as it considers that "there is sufficient room for its processing". In a statement, the council assured that at no time has the cancellation of the event been considered and that it has worked from the beginning with the aim of developing all the programmed activities.
