The Association for the Revitalization of Old Centers (ARCA) has submitted a set of allegations to the General Plan of Estellencs, currently in the public information phase, with the aim of strengthening the protection of the municipality's heritage, landscape, and territorial model. The entity registered its observations on May 25 and argues that the future of the town must be based on the conservation of its cultural and environmental values and avoid transformations that could irreversibly alter its identity.

Palma City Council's plenary session has approved modifying the General Plan of 2023 with the aim of making better use of consolidated urban land and facilitating the construction of more homes in the city. The initiative, promoted by Vox and approved with the favorable votes of this group and the PP, will allow for the harmonization of building heights and the modification of urban planning indices that are considered "obsolete". The proposal was approved this Tuesday during the second session of the state of the city debate and also urges the government team to urgently transform the Urban Planning Management into an autonomous body.
