Coalició per Mallorca presented Pere Sánchez Lendínez this Saturday as a candidate for the Parliament of the Balearic Islands for the upcoming regional elections. The candidacy of the Majorcan formation represents a commitment to incorporate people from civil society into politics, with professional experience and knowledge of the reality of Mallorca, but without a trajectory linked to traditional political parties. Known for his work as a presenter and communicator, Pere Sánchez explained that his entry into politics responds to “a profoundly personal decision and the conviction that Mallorca faces challenges that require active commitment from citizens”.

The president of Congress and general secretary of the PSIB-PSOE, Francina Armengol, announced this Saturday, at a party event in Palma, that she will not run in the primaries to lead the socialist candidacy in the 2027 regional elections. "I am doing this out of enormous responsibility in the moment we are living in. I believe it is for the best," she assured.
