The citizen platform Flipau amb Pere Garau has denounced the proliferation of abandoned cars in the neighborhood's streets and has criticized the "inaction" of the Palma City Council in the face of a situation that, it claims, degrades public space and further reduces the available parking spaces in one of the most densely populated areas of the city.
