The platform No to the import of waste has demanded that the Consell de Mallorca review the calculation of the waste tariff and carry out independent audits in view of the "serious conclusions" of the financial control report. The No to Waste Import platform has publicly denounced that "the problems have already begun" as a result of the transfer of waste from Ibiza to Mallorca to be incinerated at the Tirme plant. In a statement, the organization, made up of more than 20 entities, stated that a few days ago an "incident" occurred at the incinerator which would have been caused by waste from Ibiza.
