The Calvià Town Hall has regretted the "irresponsible" attitude of the lifeguards' union, which has announced a strike for Sunday, coinciding with one of the weekends with the highest expected attendance at the municipality's beaches. According to their criticism, this union "does not hold any legal representation power over the rest of the lifeguards" and, furthermore, has recalled that the Council already held a meeting weeks ago with some of the lifeguards who provide their services this summer at various beaches in the municipality.
