The Nursing union Satse has demanded this Thursday from the Minister of Health, Manuela García, the immediate dismissal of the managing director of the Son Espases University Hospital, Cristina Granados, following the resignation of the Nursing director, Natalia Vallés. The union considers that the situation in the management of the Balearic Islands' reference hospital is "unsustainable" and maintains that Vallés' departure adds to the succession of resignations and dismissals in executive positions at the center.

The former head of Radiology at Son Espases University Hospital, Joan Palmer, has stated that he felt "disregarded" during his last year as head of the service at Son Espases University Hospital. In a message posted on social media, the specialist, now retired, has demanded that the Balearic Health Service (IB-Salut) not "look the other way" in the face of situations that affect the health of professionals.

Sabrina Vidal, former head of communication at Son Espases University Hospital, has publicly denounced, through a LinkedIn post, having suffered humiliations and pressures during her time as director of the center. Vidal assures that a manager from the general management repeatedly told her "you shut up, you have no idea" in front of about fifteen people during weekly management meetings.
