Supporting Paradise is a literary and cinematographic work that already accumulates several lives. The publisher Lunwerg published the first edition of this book of conversations with twenty Majorcan artists in 2011 and now Lleonard Muntaner has reissued it. The documentary, premiered this 2026 at the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest, recovers interviews filmed in 2012 to portray the loss of identity, the destruction of the territory, and the contradictions of tourist Mallorca. The film confronts those warnings with the gaze of a new generation of creators. We talk to the director about the creative process, about cinema as a space for dialogue, and about the defeat, indignation, and hope that cross the social context in which it has been premiered.
