If there is one thing that Ara Més-Front Ampli has placed at the center of its first campaign event in the Balearic Islands, it is a classic concept of the left: the working class. The key to the November 29th elections will be whether the working class of the Balearic Islands and the State votes in favor of or against their own interests. This was stated by the head of the list, Ada Colau, who enumerated the measures for which the left, beyond the PSOE, will work in the next legislature: banning the speculative purchase of housing, expropriating vulture funds, achieving fiscal justice (making those who have the most pay), and ensuring that working people live with dignity rather than further enriching those who already accumulate a large part of the country's economic power. About 500 people gathered this Sunday at the Plaça de Sant Jeroni in Palma, where popular power was summoned in the face of the polls, with the election results of Brazil and the United States clearly present.
