A result especially of oral usage, these words transcend ages or generations; most are familiar to everyone and are used in everyday life. Examples include 'tudadiza', 'dajonar', and 'clancha', and they are kept alive through everyday use and oral transmission.

In response to the situation, the Association for the Revitalization of Ancient Centers (ARCA) has criticized the situation, calling for "effective preservation of this monumental complex for years" and stating that the neglect and lack of investment "has been a constant" and has demanded its restoration. "The roofs of the church and the Charterhouse have not been repaired; some are in the process of being repaired, while others are not," explains Concepció Bauçà, a doctor in Art History and member of ARCA. The problem with the Charterhouse goes back a long way. "Sometimes things are done, but not everything," she laments. As the association points out, this is not the first collapse that has occurred at the complex "due to insufficient conservation."

They must satisfy the tastes of tourists without losing sight of trends emerging on social media. A clear example is the success of Dubai chocolate, a viral flavor that combines chocolate, pistachio paste, and kataifi (a crunchy thread pastry), which originated on TikTok. Several ice cream shops consulted by ARA Baleares confirm that this flavor has become one of their best-selling thanks to the impact of digital platforms. This chocolate originates in the United Arab Emirates, where Sarah Hamouda founded Fix Dessert in 2021, a company that makes chocolate bars combining ingredients. In the case of Dubai chocolate, she wanted a flavor that reminded her of the Arabic knafeh desserts. The title Tasting the Dubai chocolate, videos have gone viral in which users eat this ice cream for the first time. Users even share recipes for its preparation, which have accumulated millions of views. Its success has spread to supermarkets, where sales have also increased.

Sitting on the floor or leaning against the wall, the image reflected the atmosphere of an iconic nightlife spot in the Ciutat de Palma in the 1990s: the Es Carreró bar. It opened its doors on December 22, 1992, and was open for nearly 15 years. Its location in the old town and its distinctive, musical atmosphere defined the iconic establishment, which closed in 2006. The building was demolished two years later, but Es Carreró still lives on in the memories of many of the young people, now adults, who frequented it.

These are some of the paths that various mystical figures have used to reach what is known as the state of ecstasy, the connection with divinity. Religious figures such as Elisabet Cifre de Colonya, Joana Oliver Andreu, and Sister Anna Maria del Santísimo Sacramento, among many others, are some of the figures that writer Rosa Planas (Palma, 1957) includes in her book Majorcan mystics (Leonard Muntaner), a volume that aims to bring these women and their significance closer to the present day, give visibility to forgotten figures, and reveal a previously unknown dimension of Mallorcan religious culture. "There's a whole element of symbolism that seems abandoned today and that needs to be recovered," Planas claims.

She did so with a message on the social media platform X in which she gave her version of the argument that took place between her and the group's spokesperson, Manuela Cañadas. This Monday in Parliament during the first session of the budget debate. However, until now, he has remained in the parliamentary group. Ribas asserted that he did not start the discussion and denounced a "public defamation campaign" that has been going on for over a year by Vox, and specifically by Cañadas. "As it is, I have no choice but to leave. I didn't cause it. This is what the current leaders of a party that either ousts people or forces them to leave wanted it," he stated.
