PalmTense moments in the Vox parliamentary group during the first session of the budget debate. The far-right spokesperson, Manuela Cañadas, silenced her predecessor, Idoia Ribas, who no longer belongs to the party after months of disagreements with the executive branch, but remains a member of the parliamentary group.

It all began when the Més MP for Menorca, Josep Castells, referred to the salary increase for the ministers, an amendment introduced by the PP that does not appear in the budget agreement signed in 2023 with Vox. Assuming that Cañadas would vote in favor (although Vox sources assure that they will reject it), he said that Ribas, who negotiated the previous budget, "has more principles than Cañadas."

From his seat, Ribas responded: "Of course." At that moment, Cañadas was outside the chamber. However, the spokesperson could hear how the non-affiliated MP Agustín Buades, who was a member of Vox until he left, dissatisfied, like Ribas, with the party's leadership, echoed Castells's words. It was then that Cañadas expressed his discontent with these words. "Does it bother you?" Idoia Ribas retorted, according to parliamentary sources. Cañadas responded by ordering her to be quiet with gestures and "shut up."
