Cloudy and overcast skies are expected on Tuesday, with some locally heavy showers in the western part of the archipelago starting in the morning. These showers could be locally heavy in the Pitiusas Islands (Ibiza and Formentera). Temperatures will remain fairly stable. Winds will be light from the south, shifting to an easterly component in the morning. Parts of the islands were under a yellow weather warning for accumulated rainfall of 20 mm in one hour this Monday. Specifically, the alert was activated in the north and northeast of Mallorca and in Menorca.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) predicted this Tuesday that in the first quarter of 2026, temperatures above 11 degrees Celsius are "most likely," the average temperature for the first three months of the year. "It is most likely that on most days, temperatures will be above normal," the agency emphasized in a statement. Regarding rainfall, Aemet indicated that an average of 136 liters per square meter will fall during the quarter, a typical figure for this time of year. Christmas temperatures will be "mild," according to Aemet. Maximum temperatures will range between 16 and 17 degrees Celsius, while minimum temperatures will be around eight degrees, and rain is possible.
