PalmThe State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued an orange warning for Ibiza and Formentera this Thursday due to rain and storms affecting the eastern third of the peninsula and the Balearic Islands. These rains will trigger Dana Alice, the first major storm of the season.

The warning has been activated from 6:00 a.m. on Thursday until 6:00 p.m. the same day on both islands, according to Aemet.
The warning responds to the risk of rain in the Pitiusas, which could accumulate up to 40 liters per square meter (l/m²) in one hour and 100 l/m² in four hours. There is also a probability that the precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms.
