In a letter addressed to the Chamber's Bureau early Thursday morning, Ribas formally requested her departure from the Vox parliamentary group to become an unaffiliated deputy. "My departure from the group confirms the collapse of a project that, since the beginning of the legislature, has been doomed to failure by the continuous interference of the national leadership, which has intentionally sought this outcome," she stated. With her departure, which adds Xisco Cardona and Agustí Buades, Vox is left with five deputies in the Parliament.

Vox MP Idoia Ribas has announced that she is leaving the parliamentary group, but will retain her seat as an unaffiliated MP.
