In Palma, the City Council has announced significant road closures and public transport diversions planned for Monday, January 5th, due to the Three Kings Parade. The route will run along Moll Vell, Antoni Maura Avenue, Passeig del Born, La Rambla, Avenida de Alemania, Passeig de Mallorca, Jaume III, Plaça Joan Carles I, and Cort. The first closures will begin at 1:00 PM, with several streets in the city center being closed. The Passeig Marítim is expected to reopen around 7:00 PM, and the Avenidas around 9:00 PM. The parade is expected to end at approximately 10:00 PM. The EMT (Palma's municipal transport company) has announced diversions on numerous bus lines and special reinforcements to facilitate access to the city center. Despite the adverse weather forecast, the Palma City Council has not yet announced any changes or alternatives in case of rain, beyond the usual organizational and safety measures. In Ibiza, the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río has decided to postpone the Three Kings' Day parade initially scheduled for Monday, January 5th, to Tuesday, January 6th, due to the rain forecast issued by the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET). The City Council has indicated that this change does not alter the routes, times, or starting and ending points, which remain as planned. The parades will take place in Puig d'en Valls, Jesús, San Carlos, Santa Eulalia, and Santa Gertrudis throughout the day on January 6th. Should the bad weather persist, the reception for the Three Kings will be moved to the Eivissa Congress Palace. In Formentera, the Island Council has opted to modify the format of the Three Kings' visit, maintaining their presence on the island but adapting the program to guarantee safety. Due to the weather forecast, their arrival by sea at the port of La Savina has been ruled out, and the visits will take place directly in the towns, in enclosed or more protected spaces. The events will be divided between Pilar de la Mola, San Fernando, and San Francisco, with staggered arrivals throughout the afternoon of January 5th. The institutions have indicated that any modifications will depend on the evolution of weather conditions and will be communicated through official channels.

It will invest a budget of €847,000, which will be allocated to 22 new floats, costumes, and everything else necessary for this traditional celebration. This was explained by the Councilor for Social Services, Education, Citizen Participation, Youth, and Equality, Lourdes Roca, during the presentation of her department's budget, which took place on Tuesday in the Cort plenary hall. According to the figures provided, the parade's budget increased by €488,000, a 136% increase compared to the previous year, when it cost €359,000. Roca explained that the only elements that will be retained from previous years are the animal figures used in the reception of the pages, and that everything else will be brand new. In the last two years, Palma's Three Kings Parade had recovered a more traditional and religious character than that of the previous legislature The aim, as the councilwoman explained at the time, was to recreate "the spirit of the tradition surrounding the arrival of the Three Wise Men, with a solemn atmosphere." Now the parade is being completely revamped, although the municipal team has not been able to reveal any further details about the artistic direction of the January 2026 parade.
