This is the challenge that the Consell de Mallorca sets for the island's youth and which it develops through various programs that combine mental health, creativity, nature, and new opportunities. With this commitment, the institution wants to respond to the real concerns of young people and offer them useful tools for their day-to-day lives, from emotional well-being to personal expression or quality free time. In the words of the president of the Consell, Llorenç Galmés, “we have not only the obligation, but the firm will to support our young people and contribute to their integral growth. It is, without a doubt, the best investment we can make for Mallorca: betting on the talent, well-being, and development of the capabilities of our young people”.

For Joves de Mallorca per la Llengua, 2026 is a historic year. For the first time in the same year, the entity's two major events will be celebrated: l’Acampallengua and Correllengua. Correllengua will be in a new format, which adds the 'Agermanat' lineage and will travel from north to south through the Catalan Countries between April 19 and May 5.

The Acampallengua of Manacor creates a talent pool, and dances, and a desire to continue using Catalan as the habitual language of Mallorcan life. This has been the first day of the annual meeting organized by Joves de Mallorca per la Llengua, which has brought together thousands of people around the various proposals distributed in different spaces of the city.

Acampallengua, the youth-led initiative for social cohesion and advocacy for the Catalan language in Mallorca, returns to Manacor after 14 years. Jóvenes por Mallorca (Youth for Mallorca), the organizing body, announced today in the Manacor cloister that the 2026 edition will take place on the weekend of April 11th and 12th in Na Molla Park. "For three decades, Acampallengua has established itself in the collective consciousness as a national tool that is more than a festival, more than a camping trip, and more than a concert; it is the place to experience the Mallorca we desire. The first edition of Acampallengua was held in 1997 in Inca. It was held continuously, alternating with Correllengua, until 2012, the year it moved to Manacor. After a decade-long hiatus, it returned in 2023 with the Sa Pobla edition, which welcomed over 6,000 attendees and featured Antònia Font as the headliner. Last year, the festival took place in Felanitx, with a confirmed edition featuring more than 30 activities and a massive concert in the Torre municipal park, one of Mallorca's largest concert venues.
