Independents per sa Pobla has joined Coalició per Mallorca after the party's governing bodies unanimously approved the agreement. With this decision, the party will be the candidacy that will represent the sa Pobla City Council in the next municipal elections, maintaining its identity and local project.

Coalició per Mallorca presented Pere Sánchez Lendínez this Saturday as a candidate for the Parliament of the Balearic Islands for the upcoming regional elections. The candidacy of the Majorcan formation represents a commitment to incorporate people from civil society into politics, with professional experience and knowledge of the reality of Mallorca, but without a trajectory linked to traditional political parties. Known for his work as a presenter and communicator, Pere Sánchez explained that his entry into politics responds to “a profoundly personal decision and the conviction that Mallorca faces challenges that require active commitment from citizens”.

El Pi has allied with a new party, Som Mallorca, and will present itself in the next elections under the umbrella of Coalició per Mallorca, with the message: "There is no more room for people in Mallorca". It proposes a decrease in the tourism sector and has positioned itself against the extraordinary regularization of migrants. Businessman and former vice-president of the tourist rental employers' association Habtur, Joan Serra, is its general coordinator.

The plenary session of the Consell de Mallorca approved this Thursday to promote a study on the island's population carrying capacity with the aim of analyzing the impact of demographic growth on the territory, infrastructures, and public services. The proposal, presented by Coalición por Mallorca, was approved with the support of the majority of political groups, while the PSIB and Vox abstained.
