PalmLast year, Eroski sold €68.5 million of local produce in the Balearic Islands, a figure that once again demonstrates the chain's firm commitment to the region and to local produce. This sales volume consolidates Eroski's support for local suppliers, with whom it collaborates to offer its customers a wide range of fresh, high-quality products.
The data was revealed today in Campos during the presentation of the new edition of the "Sa Nostra Terra Products" campaign, which was attended by, among others, the director of Eroski in the Balearic Islands, Alfredo Herráez; the general director of Agri-Food Quality and Local Produce, Joan Llabrés; the island's regional minister for Promotion; Campos, Francisca Porquer; and numerous suppliers from the islands.
Eroski maintains commercial agreements with nearly 160 suppliers in the Balearic Islands, with whom it sells nearly 1,400 locally sourced products. To reinforce this commitment, a new special campaign will be launched next month with special promotions on local products.
"The data clearly shows that our customers increasingly value local products. At Eroski, we will continue working closely with our suppliers to continue offering the best of our region," emphasized Alfredo Herráez, director of Eroski in the Balearic Islands.
