PalmaCatalan as a welcoming language has been the theme of the third session of the IEC-ARA cycle in Palma, IEC Questions: we question, we understand, we converse, which is promoted by the Institute for Catalan Studies (IEC) and ARA Balears.

The meeting featured interventions by Sebastià Alzamora, writer, member of the Philological Section of the IEC and territorial delegate of the entity in the Balearic Islands, and Elga Cremades Cortiella, tenured professor of Catalan Philology at the UIB.
The session, held this Thursday, was moderated by ARA Balears journalist Anna Mascaró and served to address the role of Catalan as a tool for reception and integration in Balearic society. The one in Palma was the last session of this cycle.
