PalmaBritish singer John Newman and Rudimental DJ will headline on September 5 the patron saint's concert of Palma, which will take place at Parc de la Mar and which, after last year's edition, which brought together more than 32,000 people, the event will once again occupy the six lanes of the Maritime Promenade.

The Palma City Council presented this Friday the second edition of the event, framed within the festivities of Mare de Déu de la Salut, patron saint of the city along with Sant Sebastià, and which will also feature performances by artists Freenipples, Lady Gosya, Àlex Losa and Isaac Indart. The program will begin at 7:00 PM and will last until 2:00 AM, and the schedule will be extended compared to the first edition. Access to the event will be free.

John Newman, known for songs like Love Me Again and Feel the Love, has participated in international festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Reading & Leeds. Rudimental DJ will also perform, formed by Piers Agget and DJ Locksmith (Leon Rolle), with a proposal that fuses styles such as drum and bass, soul, house, garage, and pop. For their part, the Balearic representation will be made up of Freenipples, Lady Gosya, Álex Losa, and Isaac Indart.

The Councilor for Citizen Participation, Lourdes Roca, has pointed out that the City Council intends to consolidate 'Patrona' as one of Palma's main musical and festive events after the welcome of the first edition.

The concert will once again require the closure to traffic of the six lanes of the Maritime Promenade, which will be integrated into the space for attendees. The stage, for its part, will be 18 meters wide and 12 meters deep and will have 240 square meters of screens.

Cort will also reinforce cleaning, mobility, and security services, and the venue will have bars, food stalls, and a platform for people with reduced mobility. Access with glass containers is not permitted.
