Students from CEU Beato Luis Belda will do internships with RCE Mallorca
The strategic agreement will allow students to participate in the club's activities, and will also give the CEU brand visibility in the stadium.
PalmRCE Mallorca and the future Beato Luis Belda University Center, affiliated with CEU San Pablo University, have announced a strategic collaboration agreement that will unite both institutions until June 2028. The aim is to promote sport, academic training, and the professional integration of students within a high-performance environment. The agreement will allow CEU Beato Luis Belda students to complete academic internships at the club's facilities, such as thestadium, the Sports City and the RCE Mallorca Sport Clinic, where they can integrate into the daily life of a First Division club and acquire direct professional experience.
Luis Belda University plans to open its doors in the 2026-2027 academic year in the former Riskal building in Palma, where 40 million euros will be invested, including the acquisition (already completed in June) and adaptation of the space for university activities. It will have capacity for approximately 2,000 students and will initially offer four degrees: Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, and Psychology.
Possible joint degrees
Students from the university center will participate in the RCE Mallorca Business Club, with the opportunity to develop presentations and educational activities. In the medium term, the agreement also opens the door to the creation of joint degree programs. The agreement also includes a CEU brand presence on the club's advertising materials: it will appear on the front of the training shirts of the youth teams, including the women's team, and on pitch 5 of the Antonio Asensio Sports City, where the youth teams play. The logo will also be visible on screens and audiovisual systems in the stadium.
According to Alfonso Díaz, Corporate CEO of RCE Mallorca, "this agreement goes far beyond sponsorship." "We share a vision based on education, talent, and values, and we believe it will offer great opportunities to the students, the club, and the Balearic community." For his part, Javier Tello, General Director of the San Pablo CEU University Foundation, highlighted that "students will be able to apply their knowledge in a professional and demanding sports environment that will improve their preparation for the world of work."
