PalmThe cancellation of the quiz show Yo sé más que tú, the most-watched program on IB3, has generated an immediate reaction from the audience. From the moment the announcement was made public, social networks were filled with criticism, laments, and demands for explanations from the management of the public television of the Balearic Islands. One user has gone further and has started a petition to force the entity to bring back the program.

The platform

Change.org has been the one used to make the claim and, in just over 24 hours, the initiative has already surpassed 2,300 signatures. The citizen initiative argues that the quiz show has been, for seven years, "a pillar in our home" and a space that has allowed many families from the Islands to share moments in front of the television.

In the text of the petition, they also regret that its disappearance represents "a great loss for many families". In this regard, the promoters argue that it is not just an entertainment program, but a format that "is a space where both young people and adults find common ground, which unites generations".

The initiative also emphasizes the emotional and social value of the program, defining it as "an opportunity to talk, laugh, and learn together", and as a "disconnection from daily routine" that favors family coexistence. According to the text, its elimination will affect "thousands of islanders who value television content that fosters intergenerational union and learning".

Finally, the petition calls on IB3 to reconsider the decision and maintain the program, whether in its usual slot or an alternative time, with the aim of not losing a space they consider key to family cohesion: "Let's not let such a valuable program disappear without a fight".

Loyal audience

Yo lo sé + que tú, presented by David Ordinas, premiered on IB3 more than seven years ago and has established itself as one of the most recognizable game shows on the channel. The format, based on general knowledge questions with teams competing from Monday to Friday, has been a staple in the afternoon slot and has stood out for combining entertainment and education. Over the seasons, the program has accumulated hundreds of broadcasts and has maintained a loyal audience, to the point of being among the most watched content on IB3's schedule.
