This is partly thanks to its publication by Blumhouse Games, an American publisher founded in February 2023 by Jason Blum, specializing in horror games. In fact, Crisol is a first-person survival horror game where the protagonist uses their own blood as ammunition. The experience boasts a macabre atmosphere in a twisted version of Spain, filled with references to Catholic culture and rife with dark secrets.

Kennedy increases the action and focuses more on combat mechanics. Both will have to uncover the secrets hidden in Raccoon City after the major nuclear incident.
