Detained after climbing the facade of a dwelling in Marratxí and stealing several jewels

MarratxíThe Civil Guard has arrested a 33-year-old man as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force after accessing a home in Marratxí by climbing the facade and forcing one of the doors.
The events took place in the early hours of August 26. A citizen alerted the Civil Guard's Operational Services Center that he had seen a man climbing the facade of a building located next to his home.
Civil Guard agents and agents from the Local Police of Marratxí were dispatched to the scene, where they located the suspect inside the dwelling.
At first, the man assured the agents that he was a friend of the owner and that he had entered the house because she had asked him to. However, the version did not match that of the woman, who denied having given him permission to access the property.
The agents verified that the entrance door showed signs of having been forced and found several tools that, according to the Civil Guard, could have been used to manipulate it.
During the search of the man's belongings, the agents also found several pieces of jewelry that were recognized as belonging to the family residing in the dwelling.
Finally, the man was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force and placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.
