Four people serious for a gas leak in a flat in La Vileta
The emergency services have found three unconscious people upon arriving at the dwelling, located on Pisa street in Palma
PalmaA gas leak in a home in La Vileta, Palma, left four people seriously injured and nine others with minor injuries early Sunday morning. The incident occurred shortly after six in the morning in an apartment on Pisa street.
The SAMU 061 health services rushed to the home after receiving the alert that three people were unconscious inside the residence. Upon arrival, emergency teams confirmed the presence of a gas leak and activated a large operation with ambulances, Local Police, and Palma Firefighters.
The seriously injured are a 34-year-old woman and three men, two aged 33 and one aged 23, who were taken to Son Espases University Hospital. The remaining nine affected individuals were treated at the scene with minor symptoms.
The operation involved two basic life support ambulances and two mobile ICUs from 061, in addition to firefighters and police officers. The exact origin of the leak is now being investigated.
