Hotel in Can Picafort evacuated due to fire in the early hours of the morning

AlcúdiaA fire declared early this morning in a hotel in Can Picafort has temporarily forced the evacuation of the establishment's clients while the Mallorca Firefighters worked to extinguish the fire and ventilate the facilities.
The alert was received shortly after midnight and personnel from the Inca and Alcúdia Fire Stations, as well as technical staff and commanders from the Tramuntana area, were dispatched to the scene.
The flames were brought under control in a short time, but the presence of smoke inside the building made it necessary to evacuate the guests to ensure their safety. The clients were outside the hotel for a few hours while the inspection and ventilation tasks were completed.
According to the Mallorca Firefighters, the lodgers were able to return to their rooms around two in the morning, and the operation was declared finished an hour later.
The incident did not cause any injuries, and the causes of the fire have not been disclosed.
