PalmMallorca has activated a yellow weather warning for cold and sub-zero temperatures from midnight until early Wednesday morning, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). The warning will be in effect until 7:59 a.m. on Wednesday due to the forecast of minimum temperatures that could reach between -2 and -3 degrees Celsius in different parts of the island, especially in inland and high mountain areas. Meanwhile, Menorca will maintain an orange warning for strong winds and coastal phenomena from midnight. North wind gusts of between 60 and 70 kilometers per hour, corresponding to force 8, are expected, along with waves of four to five meters, with a maximum height that could reach eight or nine meters.
