PalmParliament has approved a non-binding resolution requesting the Government to increase the amount of regional tax deductions and allowances for the birth or adoption of children, and to exclude those without legal residency in Spain from receiving them. The initiative passed with votes in favor from the People's Party (PP) and Vox, Europa Press reports. Parliament demands that these deductions and allowances be applied according to the "state priority criterion and excluding those without legal residency in Spain." Conversely, it rejected establishing a partial deduction for basic household expenses for large Spanish families in the regional portion of the Personal Income Tax (IRPF), with Vox being the sole opposition party.

Meanwhile, the Catalan Parliament rejected a non-binding resolution from the Socialist Party that called on the Government to provide a detailed public report within three months on the implementation of European Regional Development Funds (ERDF), European Social Fund (ESF+), and Youth Financial Transactions Fund (FTJ), including the actions taken and resources used. The proposal also requested that affordable housing be included as a "cross-cutting priority" in any future reprogramming or review of the funds, and that the Catalan Government appear before Parliament to report on any changes.
