PalmaThe National Police have arrested a young man as the alleged perpetrator of an assault with a wrench against another driver, who was injured with a cranioencephalic trauma and a head wound that required stitches. The events took place in mid-May on Manacor street in Palma.
According to the Superior Headquarters of the Police of the Balearic Islands, the incident began after a dispute between two vehicles. One of the drivers allegedly threw an object at the car in front of him. The victim stopped the vehicle on the shoulder to check for damage.
At that moment, two young men got out of the car that was driving behind. One was carrying a wrench and, allegedly, hit the victim on the head with this tool. The second involved also allegedly joined the assault by giving him several punches.

After several investigations, the investigators identified the young man who had allegedly used the wrench. As he was not initially located, a police search and arrest warrant was issued. Finally, last Friday he was arrested as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of assault.
