Le Senne, you are not my president

Every week, Gabriel Le Senne occupies the presidency of the Parliament and directs the plenary session of the Chamber. He looks satisfied and it's clear he likes to be in charge. But there's a problem: Le Senne doesn't know what it means to be a president of a parliament. This ignorance, mixed with good doses of homophobia, racism, intolerance, and conspiracy theories like the great replacement, makes someone as insignificant as me, who doesn't command even at home, not recognize him as president. It's all the same to him, of course. Besides, I am a woman and that guarantees he considers me an inferior being with whom it's not worth wasting time.

Le Senne's appearance in front of IESPortocristo, indignant before a mural where same-sex couples kiss, is disgusting, violent, and dangerous. To be violent, you don't need to shout or hit. There are very polite violent people spread throughout the world, and they are the ones who scare me the most.

The president says he respects the LGTBI collective, but even that is violent, because he respects it as long as it is not visible. He is also ignorant regarding various sexual orientations. The problem is that, as the second authority of the Balearic Islands, Le Senne is supposed to respect the collective, even if he is completely unaware of their reality. He says that a drawing promotes 'certain orientations,' as if homosexuality could be inoculated through sight, but he has no problem introducing religious iconography into Parliament, which disrespects many citizens, including myself. Yes, he considers it disrespectful that the institutions of all of us practice religious pornography. Perhaps one Christmas I will do as he does and stand in Parliament to make a video where I say nonsense about indoctrination and other paranoia.

Every time he has to give a speech, the lines he reads exude a hatred towards poor migrants, which brings to mind the worst moments of the 20th century in Europe. Like when he 'cries' about the low birth rate of indigenous people, as if the babies that migrants bring to the Balearic Islands were not worthy of consideration by a white, European, far-right gentleman.

Le Senne, I know that I even make you happy when I tell you that you are not my president. Nevertheless, I wanted to tell you. I would like to have a president someday who represents us all, even if I don't agree with many citizens. Simply, that he knows what his position entails and that he is up to it.
