PalmThe Speaker of the Congress, Francina Armengol, stated this Friday in Palma that it is "inexplicable" that the PP and Vox parties support "Mr. Trump's madness" and the "illegal" war against Iran, disregarding international law. Armengol warned that "innocent people are dying" in this conflict, such as the dolls in a Tehran school, and reiterated the "resounding no" of the Spanish Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, and the Socialists in this war. The Secretary General of the PSIB-PSOE also made these statements on the occasion of the unveiling, on the balcony of the party headquarters in Palma, of a large banner with the slogan "No to War." In statements to reporters, Armengol explained that this banner is intended to show citizens the "clamor" of socialists to "stop this illegal war," just as they once opposed and demonstrated in the streets against the war in Iraq.
