Sebastià Sagreras will head the PP list for the Senate for Mallorca

PalmaThe PP spokesperson in the Parliament, Sebastià Sagreras, will head the party's list for the Senate for Mallorca. Sagreras, in addition to being a spokesperson in the Balearic Chamber this legislative term, is the party's coordinator in the Archipelago. He was the mayor of Campos between 2011 and 2019 and in his second term in Parliament he has served as the group's spokesperson.

The popular member has thanked "the trust placed in him by Alberto Núñez Feijóo and Marga Prohens to assume this responsibility. Likewise, he has assured that he faces this new stage "with great enthusiasm, responsibility, and the firm commitment to continue working for the citizens of Mallorca and the Balearic Islands as a whole".

"Finally, Spain will decide its future next November 29th. Finally, citizens will have a voice to bring change to our country and place families, young people, and the self-employed back at the center of policies, so that effort is rewarded again and not the other way around, and so that our borders are protected", highlighted Sagreras.

In this sense, the candidate has stressed that the Balearic Islands want to contribute to this change. "We are going all out", he affirmed and showed himself convinced of the importance of the islands "having a firm voice in the state institutions and that the next government of Spain addresses the needs and particularities of the Balearic Islands".

"I assume this new challenge ready to defend the Islands from the territorial Chamber thinking solely and exclusively of the citizens of our islands", he concluded.
