PalmMORE for Palma has denounced that more than 4,000 places in the city's summer sports camps are "blocked", a situation that, according to the sovereignist party, has left hundreds of families "abandoned to their fate" in the midst of family reconciliation planning.

In a statement, the party has demanded that the Palma City Council urgently implement a shock plan to guarantee the planning of summer services and create a "stable and public" calendar that avoids new collapses in the registration system.

The party's spokesperson, Neus Truyol, has criticized the municipal management and stated that "governing is about anticipating". "It cannot be that every year families have to cross their fingers in the face of the PP's disaster. We demand immediate solutions and a radical change in the way of managing," she pointed out.

According to MORE for Palma, the delay in registrations affects approximately 4,000 places and comes at a time when many families "should have already resolved a basic issue for reconciliation".

The party has also linked this situation to other recent episodes, such as the non-payment of aid for early childhood education from 0 to 3 years old, which last year forced more than 650 families to pay upfront and incur unforeseen expenses.

The party warns that this "lack of control" could be repeated if families are forced to resort to private alternatives for June. "It's not just a delay. The government's negligence has a domino effect that ends up punishing those with less economic margin," Truyol remarked.

Finally, the party has held the Councilor for Culture and Sports, Javier Bonet, responsible for the situation and accused him of prioritizing the city's tourist projection. "He is more concerned with turning Palma into an even more crowded tourist destination than with guaranteeing essential services," concluded the councilor.
