Virgilio Moreno, candidate for the mayoralty of Inca for the 2027 elections
The general secretary and mayor of Inca will head the candidacy again for the municipal elections of May 2027
PalmaThe Socialist Group of Inca has unanimously confirmed its secretary general and mayor of the city, Virgilio Moreno, as the candidate for mayor for the upcoming municipal elections in May 2027.
Moreno has thanked the membership for their trust and remarked that the project initiated in 2015 requires a long-term perspective. "The city model that we are making a reality is not built overnight. For eleven years, we have been committed to an inclusive model where everyone can feel heard. And thanks to the collaboration of all the people of Inca, we want to continue working so that this transformation reaches every corner of Inca," the candidate stated.
The secretary general highlighted the scope of the collective work carried out over the last 11 years, emphasizing the ability of all councilors to manage the demands of the citizenry to build a city to live together in. "We have activated the pride of Inca and our culture, we have promoted a strong business fabric and a city to live in," he underlined.
Likewise, Moreno highlighted the milestones achieved such as the creation of a new educational center, the recovery of the Principal Theater, urban improvement actions in the neighborhoods with more accessible squares and streets, shaded areas and the preservation of heritage.
On the other hand, the mayor recalled the consistency of the council when demanding from supramunicipal institutions the investments that the city deserves to continue improving services and the quality of life of the residents.
Finally, Virgilio Moreno has reaffirmed his commitment to the municipality and has synthesized the meaning of his candidacy: "Everything we have achieved in these ten years is not the goal, but the starting point. The improvement of Inca is a collective project that we build together: we have done a lot, but there is still much to be done".
