PalmA 20-year-old man died after midnight on Sunday in Ibiza after falling from the third floor of the hotel where he was staying.
The young man, suffering from multiple injuries and in critical condition requiring cardiopulmonary resuscitation, died at the scene despite the efforts of medical professionals, SAMU 061 told Europa Press.
The accident occurred at the Ibiza Rocks hotel in the Ibizan municipality of Sant Antoni, where the Emergency Department deployed two life support units, although resuscitation was not possible.
Serious fall in Palma
Around the same time, but on Julià Álvarez Street in Palma, a 49-year-old man fell from a height of approximately three meters.
The man was assisted and stabilized by an Advanced Life Support unit and transferred in serious condition to Son Espases University Hospital with multiple injuries.
Both cases are being investigated to clarify the circumstances of the events.
