69-year-old man dies drowned while swimming in Port de Pollença

PalmaA 69-year-old British man died by drowning this Friday afternoon while swimming in Port de Pollença. According to the reconstruction of the events carried out by the Civil Guard, the man suffered a heart attack while swimming in the sea and ended up drowning.
Emergency services received the alert around 5:25 p.m., after it was reported that a middle-aged man had suffered a drowning incident. SAMU 061 health teams were dispatched to the scene and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers on him. Despite resuscitation attempts, the healthcare professionals were unable to save his life and confirmed his death.
