PalmA 56-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured this Wednesday afternoon after a traffic accident on Palma's Vía de Cintura highway, after colliding with a car. The impact threw him approximately eight meters, according to the SAMU 061 (National Emergency Medical Service), which received the call at around 4:50 p.m.
An Advanced Life Support unit and a duty commander were dispatched to the scene of the accident and stabilized the injured man, who had multiple multiple injuries and an open fracture of the tibia and fibula, before transporting him in serious condition to Son Espases Hospital. The Local Police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
