A 58-year-old worker dies while working on a construction site in Pollença
The emergency services tried to revive him for several minutes, but he finally died around 4:40 PM and the Civil Guard is investigating the causes
PalmaA 58-year-old man died this Tuesday afternoon while working on a construction site in Cala Sant Vicenç, in the municipality of Pollença.
According to the first reports, the man sat down at one point during the workday and then fell to the ground, hitting his head. Everything indicates that he may have suffered cardiac arrest, as reported by IB3 and confirmed to Europa Press by sources close to the investigation.
Emergency services personnel were dispatched to the scene and attempted to revive him using cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers for several minutes. Despite the efforts of the paramedics, his life could not be saved.
The worker died around 4:40 p.m. The Guardia Civil has opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of his death.
