PalmIn recent days, a video recorded by a resident of the Arenal neighborhood of Llucmajor has gone viral. It shows an attempted robbery of a tourist walking along the sidewalk. The footage clearly shows a man approaching another man from behind and attempting to steal something from his backpack. After failing in this attempt, he then attempts to steal something from his pants pocket.
The entire time the thief is trying to steal a tourist's property, the victim is unaware and in fact, the thief stops trying to steal when he discovers that someone is recording him from the balcony.
In the video, a third person appears a few meters behind the thief and who seems to be his accomplice. At all times, this person checks that there is no one on the street and seems to be the one who alerts the thief of the presence of someone recording him from a balcony.
