IbizaCala Saladeta was filled with people this Saturday during the Popular Xindriada convened by the Joves d'Eivissa association. The gathering also served as a protest event to denounce the consequences of overpopulation that, according to participants, the island is suffering.

During the event, a manifesto was read in which young people warned of the effects of tourist pressure on the territory, resources, and residents' quality of life. The initiative calls for a change of model that allows progress towards a more sustainable, habitable, and respectful Ibiza for its environment.
