PalmaAn operation by the Palma Local Police against a group of migrant people has generated a strong controversy due to the forcefulness of the intervention. In the video images, a group of police officers charge against several people until they throw one to the ground and hit her repeatedly.

Following the dissemination of the video, MÉS per Palma has called for the appearance of the mayor, Jaime Martínez, and those responsible for Citizen Security, in addition to an immediate investigation.

The spokesperson for MÉS per Palma, Neus Truyol, states that the intervention appears "clearly disproportionate" and maintains that it does not comply with the principles of proportionality, necessity, and respect for human rights that should govern the actions of security forces.

Furthermore, the party accuses the municipal government of PP-Vox of criminalizing and stigmatizing migrants and other vulnerable groups, and demands that the facts be clarified, responsibilities be determined, and that all police actions be carried out with full respect for human dignity and democratic principles.
