Critic a worker after falling while repairing a roof in Valldemossa

PalmaA worker has been admitted in critical condition to Son Espases Hospital after falling four meters while repairing a roof in Valldemossa. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation to clarify the circumstances of the workplace accident, which took place in the municipal maintenance brigade's facility.
According to initial investigations, the victim, a Bolivian man about 40 years old, was repairing some tiles when part of the roof collapsed and the man fell inside the warehouse.
The accident, as police sources have confirmed to Europa Press, took place this Tuesday, around 4:20 p.m. The worker's colleague alerted SAMU 061 and the ambulance personnel dispatched to the scene performed resuscitation maneuvers for 10 minutes. Once stabilized, the man was transferred in critical condition to the reference hospital.
